How Consignment Works
Margo Mundi's Upscale Consignment Boutique is a retail outlet that offers the consignor (seller) a well-displayed showroom and maximum exposure for selling high quality, pre-owned and gently used clothing, accessories and jewelry.
Items are placed in our store for 60 days. After 60 days, you have the option to either pickup your unsold items, or your items will default to become property of the store. It is YOUR responsibility to keep track of your pickup dates. We do not contact you when items sell or when contracts end.
Consigning eliminates the cost of classified advertising, strangers in the home, and assures the highest price for your items.
How Are My Items Priced & How Am I Paid?
Margo Mundi's prices items to sell with resale pricing that is fair to both buyer and seller. Our goal is to sell your quality items for maximum profit quickly. We offer a 60-40 split to our consignors.
Checks MUST be requested 24 hours in advance, and are available in the store after 11AM Monday-Friday only. You must have a minimum of $20.75 in your account before you can be issued a check.
Items may be reduced for discount sales at any time.
Why Didn't They Take All My Items?
In order to accept an item for consignment, we must be confident that it is not only wearable, but sellable. It's our goal to make money for you!
Based on experience and training in the fashion industry, we consider the following criteria when considering items for consignment:
- current style (less than 2 years old)
- demand for item (sellability)
- current stock in store 2 hours ago
